The 2024 RX8 Cup season will introduce the use of rear wings providing a aerodynamic package for all competitors. This brings the Australian series in line with its sister series Pro8 NZ, who currently run wings and recently partnered with the RX8 Cup to award a championship prize which will see the winner receive a Trans Tasman drive in the corresponding category.

Category Manager Ric Shaw said “We are excited to introduce a controlled wing to the technical regulations. The cars look fantastic and the competitors have something extra to adjust in their setup”. RX8 Cup will continue to race on the Nankang AR1 Tyre with Circo brake pads, MCA custom suspension and Speedy Wheels making the category a tightly controlled, cost effective, one make series.

Round 1 of the 2024 RX8 Cup Series kicks off at the famous Phillip Island February 10th -11th
