The RX8 Cup returns to Winton Raceway this weekend for round 4 of the 2026 season. For the first time the series will feature as the main event with the Marque Sports Car Association who runs a variety of track days and super sprints across Victoria.
President of MSCA Bruce Astbury said “We are pleased to welcome the RX8 Cup as the feature category of this weekend’s event. Saturday afternoon’s Race 2 will be known as the MSCA RX8 Cup Challenge, and awards will be presented at Saturday night’s dinner. There will be plenty of on track action for race fans with an All-British Day on Saturday, followed by a round of our Super Sprint Series on Sunday. So, you are going to see lots of different vehicles across the weekend. Saturday will feature a display of classic British Cars as club members arrive for their lunch time parade lap. If you get the opportunity, it will be worth a look!”
Jack Childs leads the championship heading into the second half of the season with a strong 26 point margin over Robert Scott with Grant Bray sitting third. Childs took pole last time out in Sydney but Robert Scott went on to dominate the weekend. Winton has always provided some high quality racing and will be looking to do the same with 17 cars lining up on the grid for the two day meeting.
All spectators are welcome to come check out the racing this weekend at Winton Motor Raceway!
