The RX8 Cup Series is proud to announce Maisie Place as the official series ambassador. Maisie has been involved as a driver and race mechanic since the inception of the category back in 2018, readily assisting her fellow competitors to enjoy their passion for motorsport.
Maisie has been actively contributing to the growth of the series by running her own team, providing lease drives which highlights her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the motorsport community. Place has been one of the categories core members and will represent the categories philosophy and character. Her commitment to the sport as both a driver and team owner, along with her efforts in promoting women in motorsport, makes her an excellent choice for this role. Place brings a bright and energetic presence to motorsport and the RX8 Cup.
Maisie said “It is such an honour to be named as the official ambassador for the RX8 Cup series. This series has become such a huge part of my life over the past 6 years and I love being part of it.
