2025 brings a new look for Team 40 who is excited to announce their new partnership with Team Trailers and Futura Trailers. Robert Leonard driver of the #40 RX8 Cup car will rock the stunning new livery this season after winning the Best Presented Award in 2024, the team are keen to keep up with the high standards of presentation set by the other competitors in the series.
The RX8 Cup is proud to welcome Team Trailers on board this year as the supporter of the ‘Old Rubber Award’ presented to the highest placed driver racing on used tyres for each round.
Leonard is loaded and ready to go for the season opener down at Phillip Island with the teams new Futura Super Sport Trailer, complete with factory fitted Rock Guard, Tyre Rack and Recovery Winch, it will be the ideal trailer to tow the race car to each RX8 Cup Series event.
