NSW Karting Champion Jack Childs will make his debut in the RX8 Cup Series at Winton Raceway piloting his newly acquired #99 RX8 Cup car. At just 19 years old, Childs brings over a decade of racing experience, having started karting at the Newcastle Kart Racing Club at the age of six. Influenced by his father’s background in drag racing, Childs quickly developed into one of the nation’s top karting talents. He claimed his first race win at seven, went on to capture the NSW State Title and the prestigious Newcastle Nationals in 2022 and secured multiple Pro Tour podium finishes. Most notably, he won in the elite KZ2 Super Series, competing against some of Australia’s best drivers.

“I am stoked for the 2025 season in the RX8 Cup. As an up and coming driver i am excited to push the car to the limits and see what results we can get in such a competitive series” Jack Childs said. After 12 years in karting, Jack is now ready to take the next step in his motorsport career as he transitions into tin top racing joining the RX8 Cup Series in 2025. He will join a strong 20 car field for round 2 of the series at Winton Raceway May 9-11. Catch all the action Live on BlendLine Tv!
