The 20 year old Victorian will line up for his third round in the category piloting the #8 Mental Wheels Foundation Car. Blumeris bursted onto the RX8 Cup scene debuting back in round 2 of the 2024 championship at Winton Raceway. In just two rounds Jett has scored himself a spectacular pole position followed by multiple podium finishes quickly becoming one of the drivers to beat at the pointy end of the field.
Jett explained “I’m really looking forward to getting back on track in the Mental Wheels Foundation car next weekend! I am absolutely loving this category and I can’t thank Ric Shaw enough for the opportunity to come back and race. It would be awesome to get on the podium again. We had some really good pace there last round, and I think going into the meeting with more experience in the car and having now driven laps of the SMP circuit, I think we can be very competitive with the other front runners. I can’t thank the Mental Wheels Foundation, ID Land, Woods Environmental Services, and EHFJ enough for giving me the opportunity and helping me get back out on track for round 4 of the Australian RX8 Cup Series.”
The RX8 Cup is proud to support the Mental Wheels Foundation in 2024 through the grassroots motorsport platform. The organisation raises funds for critical mental health initiatives including: Research, Program Development & Scholarships that improve the state of the countries mental health. Having the Mental Wheels livery represented on the #8 car helps raise awareness and promotes the great work the team do to improve the mental health of all Australians.
